Mexican Hamburgers

Ingredients
- 24 oz ground beef (96% lean)
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp ground oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 6 tbsp salsa
- 3 oz shredded low-fat cheddar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, oregano, cumin, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Divide into 6 (4 oz) portions and shape into patties.
- Coat grill or skillet with cooking spray. Cook patties 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Spoon 1 tbsp salsa and 1/2 oz cheese over each burger.
